The Story of Bosley
A standard worth putting your name to.

Bosley began with a simple belief: that Welsh gin could be made with the same restraint, detail and sense of occasion found in the finest luxury houses.
Its founder, Stuart Bosley, had spent years building international businesses and working across London, Europe, the United States and the Gulf. That experience exposed him to exceptional hotels, private clubs, restaurants and products from around the world—and taught him that genuine luxury is rarely loud. It is defined by standards, provenance and the refusal to compromise.
Bosley was created from that perspective.
Not as another gin for an already crowded shelf. Not to compete with mass supply. And not as a commercial exercise built around volume.
Stuart wanted to create an experience.
Something with a sense of legacy. A bottle that would mean something when it appeared in a room. A quiet signal that you were in the right place, among people who understood the difference.
Bosley was never intended to be quaffed without thought or poured without occasion. It was created to be discovered, remembered and deliberately rare.
The journey began at the National Library of Wales, where Stuart researched some of the earliest recorded gin recipes to understand the foundations of the spirit before attempting to reinterpret it.
That historic recipe became the starting point, not the finished answer.
A master distiller was then engaged, and over many months the recipe was tested, tasted and refined alongside a distillery partner whose skill, patience and commitment became fundamental to the development of Bosley. Botanical balance, texture, aroma and finish were revisited repeatedly until the gin achieved the character originally imagined.
At the heart of every distillation is a narrow moment when the spirit is at its cleanest and most balanced: the hearts cut.
Bosley retains only that centre. Everything before and after it is set aside, however costly that decision may be.
The gin is distilled in small batches on the west coast of Wales. For Stuart, a Welshman, that was never simply a production decision. Wales is home, and the coast gives Bosley both its origin and its identity.
The distinctive ribbed glass bottle is produced in Italy. Its paper is sourced from France and printed by specialist craftsmen in Leicester. Each bottle is then labelled, dressed with its signature navy ribbon and finished by hand.
Bringing a luxury spirit to market demanded far more than a recipe. Licensing, production, packaging and distribution required persistence, judgement and considerable grit. More than a year passed between the original research and the finished bottle.
Throughout that process, the objective remained unchanged.
Bosley was not designed around the cheapest route, the quickest launch or the largest possible yield. Every decision was made around the quality of the finished product and the experience created around it.
Good gin can be bought almost anywhere.
Bosley was made for somewhere else entirely.
For the private table. The memorable evening. The room where every detail matters.
If you see Bosley, you should know you are in the right place.
One gin. One standard. One family name.
